Hi,
I recently had some carpet fitted in my house and have been left with a big rectangular off-cut.
It's really good quality stuff and I need a new rug in my living room so was wondering if anyone knew of a company that offered a service to bind the edges and how much it should cost.
Thank You

Your flooring merchant will help you out. It's called whipping and binding and they charge per linear yard around the edge. It's not expensive.0

As point3 said. I had this done when we had our last carpet fitted.
If you went to a big national carpet retailer who may not offer this service, try your local carpet shop. Mine was a small local shop and they do it all the time.0 -
I got ours done by our local carpet shop, even though I did not buy the carpet there. I think that they outsourced it.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
Just had a pile done at a specialists in TN postcode. Whipping, binding and fringing was their art. The charge was about 80p a foot for whipping (all sides count). They cut to size, so no need to srtruggle with squaring up and there's lots of choices of colour (blend in or contrast). Well worth doing as slip mats etc0

TN postcode? Do you mind saying where? I've called a few people and they either don't seem to offer this, or can and can't really be bothered to (because it's not a massive expense). Did you buy the carpet there too? Thanks!0
