What to do with the Maxi ISA and CTFs, in the current climate?

Hi, at the risk of looking stupid, I still want to ask for advice.
WIth the BoE rate cuts and the recession coming up (if not here yet), what is happening to investments?
I have a Maxi Isa into which I pay £50 a month (a combination of high and medium risk stocks) and two stockholder Child Trust Funds into which I pay £25 each. All of them were opened about 18 months ago.
What would be a reasonable thing to do with invetsment accounts? Shall I stop paying into them until the economy looks up? Or shall I withdraw what I have in them (cannot do it with CTFs but with ISA, I can) for now?
Would be grateful for any views.
