Don't know about bandwidth, I was worried about screenwidth. Might go to Curry's for an extra wide monitor now VAT is down.

Yep you can save at least £5 on a £200 monitor! Seriously I can't see how a 2.5% cut will make people buy more especially on cheaper things and will shops bother to reduce prices? If a shop has a so-called sale on with 20% off are they going to bother a few more pence off? :eek:

Just home and can't believe how few second emails have been reported.

If they are sending out 12.5K second emails per day (as they were last week) and given there are supposed to be about 100k awaiting second emails there should be more votes on the week 3 poll as having received second emails today.

136 people have voted in the yes/no poll to say they haven't got the second email.

So assuming all of the 136 who have voted no in the yes/no poll and who have received their second emails today have also subsequently voted in the week 3 poll then:

Would expect 12.5K/100K x 136 = 17 people to have voted in the week 3 poll for receiving a second email today. In fact there are 9.

Conclusion - they have only sent out a lot fewer than 12.5K second emails today. What is going on FSCS. Get your act together now.

The problem has just become apparent.
The FSCS having had nothing to do for years until Icesave have become somewhat rusty with their skills.

Loretta and Harry (the office junior) have been writing each email from scratch.

Alistair, having finished his job for the day just called round to see how things were cooking....
