Shouldn't bother. I have emailed my MP and Alistair Darling twice. Although I did get an acknowledgement from my MP's secretary - to date zilch. 'They work for us' - don't make me laugh. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thing is though it costs nowt to try, what have you got to loose by emailing your MP? :)

Well I can only say that I phoned first and then, at the secretary's request, emailed both the MP and the secretary. The personal contact does seem to have worked for me. Speaking to someone enables you to get across powerfully how concern and perhaps upset you are.

I imagine that MPs are flooded with emails. We have to stand out from the crowd to get a quick response. I accept that some MPs are better at constituency work than others. Sorry if these comments aren't helpful. I hope your 2nd email arrives soon.:hello:

Don't believe it , don't they know its my 70th birthday today and still no 2nd e-mail.
Had to change my ISP from Talk Talk to Yahoo to receive the 1st e-mail, think
this may be the reason. Thinking of phoning FSCS, to check if the new e-mail address
    has been registered.

Not a bit of it, all help is much appreciated!:)

What 'bugs' people here who are still waiting is smug peeps coming here bragging that they have got their cash and how wonderful the FSCS are and we should think ourselves grateful to be getting our cash back at all!
