  • Sorry to hear that. I lost my job in August after nearly 12 years with the company so luckily I got a bit of redundancy to clear off some of my debts. Shame I have to spend it on that...anyway am temping now and have been at the same place since September but I miss my mates! reed.co.uk website sorted me!

    Good luck.

Sorry to hear aboutr the job loss and hopefully you can at least get some agency work.
  • Hi
I kinda had a feeling it might happened and started applying about 3 weeks ago for jobs, but the problem is in the region I live in there's a hell of a lot of redundancies being made so there are around 20-40 applications per role. I got the job paper today and some stuff in there but it's all about 6k less than I was on, but at least we'd be covering our debts. Hubby is signing up for all the OT he can so just trying to budget. Spoke to my boss who asked me "so we definately think it's going to come to it?" because I was asking her to make sure they didn't take the pension I'd signed up to. I was like er.... it's what you said. It's as if she thinks I can pull another 10 clients out and bang it'd be sorted. She's has a heart of gold but sometimes baffles me!

Anyway got an interview tomorrow for care work so fingers crossed!
