Damn!!
Sorry to hear that Pip.
Try to get your CV together asap (and run off as many copies as you can on their photocopier). If you can get your CV off to agencies asap, hopefully you'll find something soon. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110 -

Nope being there under probationary since june, they're adamant it's not me that if it turned around they'd have me back in a flash. So frustrating and of course i'm trying to work everything out so we can afford the bills, have reduced some but others are a worrying. Thankfully we're tracker so the 1.5% is being passed down in Dec's mortgage payment. Just so stressed.

Take advantage of knowing you losing your job and start looking.
Dust off your CV and get back out there looking! Cut back what you can, work out what you need per hour and use that a base!
Have you started looking yet? Make sure your employer will sort out a great reference for you!0 -
Would your mortgage provider maybe allow you to take a payment holiday? I had to do this when i lost my job and the PPI refused to pay out.Owing to financial constraints, the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off until further notice.

Illegitimi Non Carborundum!!!:cool:0
