New Home, low user, what Gas & Elec?
I used Energy helpline and Moneysupermarket.
Both pointed me to NPower Sign On-line 14. British Gas Click Energy 6 also was up there.
The thing with both of these is that I'm tied in for 12months. If I don't stay for 12months then I won't get the price reductions. The problem being if they hike their prices I cannot change.
I was thinking of Ebico - they've come up on my comparisons as well. But reviews seem to be bad on here recently and charges high.
Next were Atlantic, however the info is poor. Do they just charge normally or is there a 12 month contract?
I've currently got Eon for electricity (standard direct debit) and Birish Gas for gas estimated and direct debit.
As I'm a low user, I was thinking of getting METER READINGS each month, who is best to do this with?
Costs:
EDF
Elec - 17.5p for first 225 then 10.4p
Gas - 7.3p for first 670 then 3.2
Southern Elec
Elec - 16.4 for first 225 then 13.0
Gas - 4.5 for first 1143 then 3.47
Ebico
Elec - 13.74
Gas - 3.7
Thanks,
Ross
