Did you buy these pots recently, craftygranny?
I bought them a few weeks ago now but my dil said her asda still had some last week.
My local asda has a pack of 10 see through plastic wine glasses for 1.00. Bought a packet and they seem quite sturdy will try and post a pic.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

 Where do you get the gold shredded paper from? I live in the country with none of these shops like you all have.
I don't know if you found out the answer to your question. But I wonder if you have a shredding machine if you could shred gold tissue paper in it to get the same effect. Kate :hello:0 -
Have started to buy the 'gold' chocs for the pots of gold I am planning to make. Got choc coins on BOGOF in Mr T's large single gold quality street, Not buying Ferreros until nearer Christmas but have been wondering what I can buy to put in my one as not fond of Ferreros. Went to Mr T's and found some packs of Galaxy choc individuals for a treat on Sunday and when I got them home they contained individually wrapped caramels in gold foil so thats me sorted and happy
Thanks for all who share ideas on these threads as Christmas was going to be tight this year money wise and at least now I can buy for friends who I wasn't going to be able to afford to buy for. Kate :hello:0 -
