How Much Did You Spend This Christmas?
Comments

Gosh…I spent almost nothing over the Christmas period – hooray.
I did send the Christmas cards off last week, second-class of course but Joy of Joys…. There’s still about half a dozen left in the box so that takes care of next years spending extravaganza – hee hee.
Food wise I didn’t buy anything special, as there’s more than enough in the cupboards and fridge. In fact I’m starving, ravenously, hungry right now so I might make a nice salad for tea.
Watched Ebenezer Scrooge on the box Christmas Eve whilst eating my Baked Beans on Toast… how wonderful… breathtaking in fact. Marvellous acting and yes… Scrooge bought a tear to my eye… its so wonderful being off the Materialistic Treadmill – (cackling like a demented hen) lol :xmassmileThe £2 Coin Savers Club = £346.00 (£300.00 transferred to Savings a/c)

I budgeted £150 with only immediate family getting presents and me doing xmas dinner for brothers family + daughter and me. I came in under budget by a few quid for about the 4th year in a row.

After spending a horrendous amount last year, our family decided to set a limit of £20 per person. And seeing as my other half and i are trying to sort our money situation out (may be brave and post details in the new year) we didn't buy for each other this year. So i had only my Mum, Brother, his girlfriend and Nan to buy for, and a few little bits for friends. Spent Christmas day at Mum's and helped cook (she bought food). Proud of myself...bought a box of 50 decent cards from Tesco for 64p, and bought loads of wrapping paper that was reduced (without Christmas greetings on) so i can use for birthday's throughout the year. First time i have spent under £100 ever!!!!!!What's he building in there???
Debt at highest £30,450 (Dec 05)

Noooooooo I can't.
I probably would've spilled if I'd seen the thread sooner but there's too many replies now from 'good' peeps who'd be shocked.
I'm a boring peaceful sort......I don't do shocking. At least not deliberately. :rotfl:
