This is your chance to turn your pics into prizes!

A Canon Digital Camera, a Nintendo Wii and a Apple IPOD Nano Chromatic are all up for grabs.
All you have to do is submit your best/favourite travel picture. Although any travel related picture is valid for entry, we'd like to see holiday snaps that illustrate your most memorable adventures. The winning photograph will be judged on its suitability, orginality and overall 'wow' factor.
All applicants should also submit a description/caption of no more than 100 words along with their photo.



Competition Rules:

Please send only one entry per person. By entering this competition, you agree that you own the copyright on the photograph and that it is your own work.
Image files must have a resolution of 72 dpi and be no larger than 0.5 MB in size.
Submitted photographs should be the owner's own photographs or submitted by them.
The competition is open to amateur photographers only. By sending photographs, entrants agree that they are not professional photographers and they have taken the photographs themselves and photographs do not infringe the copyright, privacy rights or rights of any person, organisation or company.
Entrants should obtain consent from any identifiable individuals who appear in their photographs, before submitting them.
Argus Car Hire will reject photographs deemed obscene or inappropriate.
We ask that you do not post any content that is:

• Racist, homophobic, sexist, demeaning to either sex abusive, sexually explicit, pornographic, of a violent or disturbing nature or that preaches, encourages or incites religious or ethnic hatred
• Defamatory towards others
• Infringes copyright or intellectual property rights
• Is deemed rude or mean spirited
• Promotes commercial products
• Is an unsuitable image of a child
• Is an unsuitable image of any person in a state of undress

Terms and Conditions:

1. This competition is open to all customers aged over 21, except employees of Argus Car Hire or CarTrawler, their families, or anyone else professionally associated with the competition.
2. All information describing how to enter this competition forms part of the terms and conditions. As a condition of entry, all rules are accepted as final and the competitor must agree to abide by these rules. The decision of judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Submission of entry will be warranted as acceptance of terms and conditions.
3. All entries should be submitted via the application form with the photograph entry attached (please label the image file with your name). Entrants should include their own name, address and telephone number. Please state the subject of the image in the form. Image files must be 72 dpi and no larger than 0.5 MB. Entries will not be returned.
4. All entries must be received by midnight on 30/11/08
5. All entrants should be amateur photographers. Entries from professional photographers will not be accepted. All images submitted must be the work of the person submitting them and must not have been published anywhere else or have won a prize in any other photographic competition. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images submitted have been taken with permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws.
6. Copyright in all images submitted remains with the respective entrants. However in consideration of providing the competition with photographs, each entrant grants a worldwide licence to Argus Car Hire and Cartrawler to feature any of the submitted images on any of their websites and/or promotional material connected to this competition.
7. Only one entry per person shall be accepted. Late, incomplete or defaced entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Entries must not be sent through agencies or third parties.
8. One winning entry and two runner-up entries will be chosen from all entries received. The entries will be judged on the basis of suitability, originality, and aesthetic quality. Winners will be notified within 2 weeks of the closing date of the competition.
9. The winner will receive a Canon E0S 450D camera and have their photograph featured on the Argus website. Second Prize winner will receive a Nintendo Wii and have their photograph featured on the website. Third prize winner will receive an Apple IPOD Nano Chromatic and will have their photo featured on the website. Argus Car Hire reserves the right to select an alternative winner if any entry is deemed to be in breach of the rules.
10. The prizes described are non transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
11. Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Argus Car Hire and accordingly, Argus Car Hire may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to Argus Car Hire as a result thereof.
