3rd icesave e mail

I am starting to revieve my 3rd icesave e mails. They appear to have been sent at approx 6.24 am and the accounts were initiated at approx 3 pm yesterday. I didn`t realise that there were any other e mails coming out

  • What does the third email tell you? Anything important? Anything unique to you or is it just another generic one?
  • it says that the claim has been received and it will take 5 working days to get into the receiving account. I just had 2 more so all my claims have been acknowledged but I have not received any of the 4 claims for my dh, also initiated at approx 3 pm yesterday

    Acknowledgment emails have been received by others after initiating their claims.

    Its a standard reply they are giving for each account that is compensated
    Dear nnnnnn,

    We have received your instructions for your account.

    If you have more than one Icesave account for which you wish to be paid compensation using the FSCS depositor compensation payment process, please repeat the process for each account.

    Your compensation will be paid into your nominated account by an electronic transfer. This will take about five working days.

    If your account was a fixed rate savings account and you have chosen to keep it until maturity FSCS will send you an application form to complete and return.

    FSCS is pleased to have been able to help you.

  • I liked the fact they sent an email saying that my claim had been received. Puts a stop to the worriers.
  • Yes, received 3 separate e-mails, one for each account, all with the same wording of confirmation that the claim was being processed.
    Received 20 hours after making claim.
  • Happy days, thanks for the confirmation. Put mine through tues so with any luck will be with me tomorrow :D
