Check your computer for spyware first as this sometimes clogs up the memory as well.0

thanks but unfortunately says they cant supply upgrade for model we have....typical!!
thanks too..but its just the kind of fighter pilot games he's into now use so much RAM...more than we have!x x x0 -
You find also that modern games struggle to play well on older graphics cards. Upgrading/adding RAM will make a difference to the computer generally. For the latest games out there, you may find a more powerful graphics card is what you need. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

RAM is really easy to replace simply slots into dimm slots but you need to make sure that the new RAM is compatible as it comes with different pin numbers. RAM will speed your computer up but you probably need a faster graphics card as well, this is also really easy to replace but again you have to make sure it is compatible and that the computer can be upgraded it all depends on your motherboard.0

If your pc is older than about 4-5 years, it will most likely use 168pin sdram. if its newer it will use 186pin ddr ram. It wont work run if you have the wrong type.
Once you get the right type, its easy to fit.
Post the make and model of your pc and someone will be able to tell you what memory is neededI no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0 -

It's not RAMBUS memory, is it?0 -
Thats a point VincentVega, if it is RAMBUS them the costs are prohibitive, nearlya s cheap to buy a new machine than to purchase a memory upgrade.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals.
