Problem with quotes on MSE forums

Can anybody help?
When I try to quote the brackets come up with HTML in them which leads me to have a scroll bar in my reply so I have to delete HTML and type quote how can I get quote to come up as default

you need to copy the chosen text, high light it and select the symbol that looks like a text bubble to the left of hash sign
dont know how your getting the scroll bar on it as wellWAS DEBT FREE & STILL BAAARRRRRKING :cool:

Thank you Shaun I realise my mistake now I have been using the symbol to the right of the hash symbol that gives you the scroll bar.:beer:
