stockbroker

Can anyone suggest a stockbroker that does not use a nominee account to hold customers shares?

I'd have thought that most stockbrokers would offer a certificated sharedealing facility, though it will be more expensive and slower to trade. Why do you want this?

I want to buy some Britannia BS PIBS. As I am already a member I should get a few extra pennies from the mutual dividend scheme.
I 'thought' that if PIBS were held in a nominee account I would not be the beneficial member... unless anyone knows any different?

PS: I looked at the MSE article on brokers but the cheapest they suggest- Hoodless Brennan- does not deal in PIBS.

They give a sign up bonus that will more then cover the dealing costs if you are referred and offered me certificate for a price last time I traded. Double check this for pibs on the phone as you buy
