Left them October now I am checking my account and I am missing my online saver discount worth 14%.
I have managed to get them to freeze the price to pre 22/08 on the final bills.. (Phoned when I recieved the notification letter and changed supplier as terms and conditions) a little bit of hassle getting it credited.
I have asked why I haven't received this discount and they are saying I didn't register my online account
I did
registered online recieved email.

But they are stating that activation code it is part of registering it. I haven't been transferred into another product as there T & Cs
Where do I stand terms and conditions state I only need to register account. I have a Email from E.ON thanks me for registering?
I haven't been transferred into another product
I plan to let them take my final bill then try to recover this missing discount. Is this the best action or am I wrong.
I registered my account.
I didn't use the activation code to access account for first time until 6 months later when I needed to maintain my account.
Activation Code: This is the 4-digit code we sent you by email, either when you first registered . You will only need to enter this code when you login for the first time after receiving it.

It's an online tariff that you manage aspects of your account online. How can you think you're right if you didn't complete the registration process (I guess you forgot or made a mistake?)?0

Whatever you believe, how can you possibly think this is the best course of action?insight101 wrote: »...I plan to let them take my final bill then issue a notice of intended action to recover this missing discount. Is this the best action or am I wrong...
Surely it would be better to undertake positive negotiations over the dispute than force one side to pursue acrimonious litigious action."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -

I think the problem is you didnt fully complete the registration (by activating it)
Not sure whats going on with all the threats of legal action on this board today but I would say yes, you are wrong, its not the best action as you probably dont have a leg to stand on if you admit yourself you didnt fully complete the registration.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!
