I've bought vivaboxes quite a few times in the past they really are a brillant gift!
It's sort of like giving a voucher but it means that the receiever still gets a gift to play with on Christmas day!
You get samples (the "test tube" type, not the miniture ones in the style of the original bottles) a booklet talking about each perfume (top, middle and bottom notes etc) and a voucher for a full size bottle of whichever you like best from the samples.
In some cases it works out around the same or possibly cheaper than just buying a full size bottle- but that depends on which scent you choose.


Vivaboxes also used to do ones with miniture champagne and miniature whiskey with a voucher for a full size one from oddbins but they've stopped them shame because they were a brilliant gift. I'd quite happily get vivaboxes for my whole family if they expanded their selection a bit!

Thanks for that, thats what I was thinking, they sound so much better than a simple gift voucher. Its also better than just buying a btl of perfume and the recipient gets to try them out before choosing their own gift. The whisky and champers one's sound fab, huge shame they don't do them anymore. Can imagine they'd go down a storm at this time of year!

So I've emailed vivabox as no mention on their site as to what voucher is worth either! :rolleyes: It does state £30 to buy though?

I love the idea of them instead of a bog standard gift voucher in envelope, but obviously not worth it if the voucher is only worth about £20!

The perfume shop always do these viva boxes at christmas time.I've bought them several times as gifts as they give you chance to try out lots of new fragrances before buying full size. you don't have to get them on line, I've always bought mine in town and they usually have one on display open so you can look at it.The mens ones are usually better than the womens.

Wouldn't mind but my cousin was a manageress at one of their stores until recently, think she would have said something! :rolleyes: :rotfl:
