condensing a link - how??

Could someone please tell me, in simple terms as I'm not very techie, how you condense a web page address so that you can put it in an email and just type "click here" and it takes you to the correct page?

type the word click here and highlight it.
if you look for the icon that looks like the world with a chain link, (there is one in the quick reply box below)
click this and type in the url, then click ok.

then you get this for example click here for google

Hi,

i am not 100% sure how to do it in an email , but i think you just got to highlight the text you want to put the link on so it goes blue , then click the hyperlink button which on emails is usually like a chain symbol.

Its that simple ,

For example , if you want to do it on here , you just got to highlight the text you want to link then click the planet earth button with the chain on it (top bar of the box you type in) and enter the address.
