Section 75

I've been advised that the Visa Debit Card has the same protection as the Credit card because it's still Visa, with reference to Section 75. Anyone know if this is correct or not please?

This is the link you need:

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/section75-protect-your-purchases#debitcard
    which says:

Is there any help for debit card payments?

    A. While Setion 75 doesn’t apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you paid on a Visa debit card, or Visa credit card under £100 (otherwise go for Section 75). Known as Visa Chargeback, this is part of Visa’s internal rules and not a legal requirement.

Open your browser on the page you want to link.
Select the whole of the address (http://www.etc)
Hold down Ctrl key (bottom left of Keyboard)
Touch and release the 'C' key (copy) - then release Ctrl
    this stores the link

    Now edit your reply
when you get to the bit you need the link
    Hold down Ctrl key
Touch and release the 'V' key (paste) - then release Ctrl
    hey presto!
