I've been told a Visa Debit Card has the same protection as a Credit card regarding Section 75. Any answers to whether this information is correct or not please?

ALL credit cards are covered under the Consumer Credit Act section 75.
VISA debit cards are covered under the VISA chargeback scheme which is not bound by any Act nor is it statutory. NO debit cards are covered under the CCA.0 -
