I was told yesterday I mustnt do ANY running until I've had some heart tests done at the docs
I'm a bit gutted, because I didnt register until I'd spoken to my GP, now I'm being told different
All to do with dodgy family history apparently :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

spud - we'll know soon enough what the outcome of this and we have plenty time to get a training plan in place when we know more....
How's everyone elses training going??
Snags - i know you have smashed the 10k barrier missus!!! well done!
I managed 5.5miles on sunday in 1hr 11 mins, which i'm very pelased with, should set me up for a 1hr 20 10k for my first 10k which is in 2 weeks time... i would like to do Leeds in 1hr 15mins if possible, and i'm sure with training it is possible, eh?
Hopefully will get the 10k/6miles done this coming weekend! then i'll feel a bit better...I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Thanks Maz, but I cant help feeling I'm leaving things a bit late. If all else fails, I'll go back to being a cheerleader, and my entry fee will go to the charity

Still sounds like a long way to walk, at my fitness level anyway
Never mind, it'll all sort itself out. Maybe I'll try and do a 10k walk locally after me tests next week, see if I can do it.
I'm def coming though, hotel booked for Saturday and Sunday night. I cant stay Sunday, but Sammy mentioned her girls might want to come, and it was just as cheap for both nights as it was for oneIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
