Quick JSA question

I have applied for JSA and am awaiting the 40 minute phone call. However I'm not sure what to tell them about my previous job. It ended in September and I was on a 13 week trial thing that wasn't continued due to pretty mutual agreement - I hated it because it wasn't at all what I expected and they didn't provide me with enough training to get me through my assessments!
So, do I say I left voluntarily? That they sacked me? Or that my temporary contract came to an end? Would it affect my claim either way?

I would just say that your trial period came to an end and they didn't renew your contract.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0
