Balance Transfer Dilema between 2 cards

Hello,

I am a new to this forum but would like your expert advice on the following please. I have two new cards. Halifax mastercard and Goldfish now called Barclaycard goldfish. I would like to transfer a balance from Abbey Zero Credit card , £3,800 but not sure if i should split this between both the Halifax and Goldfish or just transfer to one card ?. Halifax fee (3%) 10 Months 0% , Barclaycard 2.5% fee, 10 months 0%.

Thank you

Firstly, I would check the exact dates when your two 0% offers end. Lenders calculate these promotional periods differently, so you may get a few weeks more with one than the other.

Bear in mind that Halifax will allow you to transfer 95% of your credit limit, whereas Barclaycard restricts you to 90%.

Other things being equal, I would probably transfer the Abbey balance to B'card. If you have the Halifax All in One card, you can then take full advantage of 0% on purchases for 10 months ;)
