I think something has changed in the New Year with regard to the £2.10 credit on the Pret Card. Prior to New Year you just registered a card, no top up required and hey presto a free coffee. Twice since New Year I've had cards declined with "Error 27" - a credit shows on the card via the web-site but declined at Point of Sale.
Not sure if they've closed the loop hole (wouldn't be surprised as it was rather a gaping one) or just a glitch in their system.0 -
Worked for me today! No top up required.
Picked up the card last week, registered it yesterday online and got the £2.20 deducted off my normal lunch bill today...no need to even restrict it to drinks.
