When I turned on my pc today, before the welcome page, there was a box that said "Your windows product must be activated within 6 days. Activate now?" Y or N.
I just closed it as I have never had this before and don't know if its a virus or something. I do have antivirus on my pc. Can anyone help, thanks.

How long have you had the PC? If Windows is not activated, it will not function fully. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

It isn't a virus. It's a Windows Activation warning. If you do not activate it within 6 days, you will end up only being able to start it and get taken straight to the activation screen.0
