My HSBC 0% CC Deal is coming to an end...

In December/January. This is the first time I have had a 0% card and just wanted to check there is no trap after the 12th Month i.e. The card will revert back to x% and I will be caught paying full interest, for the month, on the 13th month?

Thanks

Philip

    Do not assume anything!

You need to ask them for the EXACT 0% end date, and then clear your balance before that date.

Golden rule: The 0% end date rarely, if ever, falls on a payment due date.
  • I think I will just clear it in December and not get caught out!

If you can clear it, that's best of course, as you won't incur the charges of another bank transfer.

Very wise. If only more people would follow your lead there would be so many fewer tales of woe on this site!
