I spent last night trawlling through the list and reserving items and today managed to get
3723188 Tyco R/C vertigo which includes free hot wheels racing track and a hot wheels fireball - fantastic value for £29.99
1051838 King Size Duvet Cover pack of two for £14.99
2696814 3D Snowman Twig - which looks so much better than it sounds £9.99
I also had the outdoor projector reserved but it magically disappeared from the shop this morning
So many thanks to you all for your efforts and roll on Christmas 2006 so i can get my snowman outside my house :xmassmile0 -
I managed to get one of the 5ft Santa's today and it's the only one anywhere around here...but it's got the wrong AC adaptor in it.There's a 2 pin in there which i assume is European:(
Does anyone know what's the best thing to do now as i don't want to give it back and as i said there aren't any more around here.Do you think if i called Argos they would send out the right adaptor or even if i called the people that provide them to Argos which is based in Essex same as me they might send the right one?
Or can you buy them in Homebase/B&Q?
If anyone has got one and can tell me or provide me with a link to the correct one to buy then that would be great:)
Many thanksDarren0 -
No it's the same black adaptor you get here but it has 2 slim flat pins quite close together with holes towards the top of them. That's what makes me assume it's European. If it helps i could take a picture?Darren0

Oh and the other thing is it says Model JOD-48U-42
Input AC 120v
Output DC 9v
So that's European isn't it?Darren0 -
Thanks Gizmoleeds very helpful.Would i be able to just buy a whole new adaptor then or are they quite expensive?:(
P.S Yes that's the one you posted above.Darren0 -

You shouldn't need to buy anything. Contact Argos or the manufacturer, the manufacturer will probably be more helpful as Argos will just think "We can give you a refund".
Even better, get Argos to phone the manufacturer on their phone bill
