Hello I am wanting to travel to Aberdeen over the new year. I have been looking at planes and trains. I have looked at Martins tips and think I can do it for £100 for two returns by train but this takes forever. Can anyone help me with some other ideas?
Thanks

What dates over the new year are you traveling, if possible you want to avoid Friday 2nd of Jan as this is alreadry a busy day for the trains with alot of advance tickets already gone.
It will take an age by train as it over 450 miles and on average 2 changes of train it will take about 8 hours, if traveling time is a problem then flights are the best option.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0
