While wrapping presents, putting up Xmas decorations etc most people say they put on Xmas cd, then when everything's done, watch an Xmas film.
So what are your favourite Christmas CDs and /or DVDs.

Santa Claus the Movie (with Dudley Moore) is a must - you can pick it up from Play.com very cheaply.
Also The Holiday is beautiful. I watched Deck the Halls last year for the first time and that was very good. xxx0 -

What christmas music do you listen to......0 -
Good thread!!!
I have never actually thought of listening to xmas music as I wrap - probably as I used to have to listen to it all day every day at work before I left to become a SAHM. Will do that this year!!!
I LOVE all the xmas movies, alot of the ones mentioned above, but most of all Home Alone!! I honestly can watch that every single day!! can't wait for the kids to be older and watch it with me!!! (They are still at the age where all the pranks played on the baddies would either upset them or give them bad ideas as they wouldn't know it's not real!!!)

Its a Wonderful Life
Miracle on 34th Street
Elf
The Nightmare before Christmas
Love Actually“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

My son absolutely loves
The Polar Express
The snowman was banned from our house for a few years as my son watched it & was so distraught that the snowman melted at the end. Took him 2 hours to calm down. He was the same in Jack Frost too.
Father Christmas is good though
I've just ordered a new one from HMV "A Christmas Story" which is supposed to be fantastic.
Christmas cd's I struggle more with though. I usually find I like a couple of songs on a cd but not others. Would love some good hints if anyone has any. I usually end up making my own compilation but have a new pc this year & no christmas songs on it

I'm a big fan of all things christmassy
Music wise, i think you defiently need some traditional carols. I have the best christmas album in the world ever for the classic tunes, although the songlist seems to have changed for that now. Also i highly recommend the ally mcbeal christmas album. It may sound random, but it's amazing! has been a favourite of mine for about 6 years. And dont worry it has nothing really to do with ally mcbeal. you can have a listen on you tube.0
