There are 6-10 of us wanting to go skiing for a week in the easter holidays.
Can anyone recommend a cheap opertaor who offers chalets or half board accomodation. We are looking to spend around £400 each on flights/transfers/accomodation/food for the week
Thanks

easter is mid april so you will need to be looking either at the far north such as finland or norway or at the higher peaks in places like italy, france etc as it is late in the season, we skiied in finland in the 1st week in April and it was ok but the town itself was full of melting snow
have a look at companies such as inghams, neilsen, crystalski, igluski etc for an idea of costs etc - as there maybe 10 of you you may find you can get a group discount0 -

I think you'll struggle to do all that for £400 each unless you self cater. I've not looked at very cheap deals as I prefer to stay in a chalet, which is usual more expensive.
I don't agree that you'll have to go to the far north though. As long as you choose a high resort you should be okay as long as we don't have a heatwave. I'm skiing in Verbier in Switzerland on 4th April and have been assured that there will be snow.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0 -

cheers guys. I've had a bit of luck finding deals around £400 but they are not necessarily in high resorts.
Will keep looking0 -
Have you considered Switzerland? Jet2 offer cheap flights to Geneva.
For more information on skiing & snowboarding in France & Switzerland see the Ski & Snowboarding Travel Guide which includes information on drive times from Geneva Airport to popular ski & snowboarding resorts, up to date snowcams, ideas for weekend ski or snowboarding breaks and information on resorts close to Geneva such as Megève and Mèribel.
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately im down in london so Jet2 are not an option0 -
There's a website call snowheads, which has a forum like this. That might be the best place to post for suggestions.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0
