FreeSat HD through a sky dish

Just found out that the Satalite connection in my living room is part of a communal setup with a dish on the roof.
We can't get freeview where we are would it be possible to plug in a freesat HD box and use it straight away other are using it for sky, we've got a 1080p tv and would like to use it to the best of its abilities

Yes but I would wait for the HD PVR to come out just get a secondhad sky box with viewing card till then. But for the PVR you will need more than 1 LNB connection (atleast you will to be able to watch 1 thing and record another)0

Yes, in a word.
The new PVR type Freesat Receiver however will not work on a communal set up.0
