ok..phone call to virgin done..she gave me £700 more than asked for , the went through all the policy details, i said we have sick pay scheme at work so im covered for that,if i get made redundant ill get arould 15k so ill pay it off, and if i die i dont give a damn! i also went down the wealthy parent route! worked first time ,she didnt even try again,done in 10 mins...TO FINISH LAST, FIRST YOU HAVE TO FINISH....0

Wish I had seen this thread about 15 minutes ago! Have just had the phone call as described here and they were asking if all was ok had I got the card etc. Then all of a sudden they mention the Payment Protection and for some reason I took it thinking it was the Credit Card protection (covering card loss etc.) Now I have it they did say there was a cancellation that can be done within 30 days. Can this be done by letter or am I going to have to phone up and (as seems to be the case with these) argue with the person to get it cancelled?0
