Just got a copy of my credit file and have noticed the following:
Orange Comms supplier
Effective Dates
Start 15/11/2001
End 17/04/2005
Monthly Status:
S0000000QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ.QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ0
0 = Payment ontime
Q = Query
S = Settlet or satisfied account
.= No info supplied by lender
There are other orange entires for the same and other dates and they are all perfect. Should I query this, will it effect my credit rating? I know I never missed a payment with them.

The Equifax Credit Report 'online sample report' here...

...gives the following information for 'Q'...
Similarly, the corresponding entry with Experian states...This account is under review. This review may have been at your request. Please contact the Credit Grantor directly regarding this matter.Account Query: The lender has reported that you have questioned how accurate this information is.0 -
Thanks for your replies
I'll give Orange a buzz then. The credit report was from Equifax, it didnt appear in the other one (experian).
Turns out they are closed till tuedays anyhow.0 -
Personally I don't think it will affect you at all. It is old, and you have never been in arrears - can't imagine anyone would hold this against you.So many glitches, so little time...0
