hi,
I have orange home max, which includes bb, phone line, free calls after 6pm and an internet phone line, and have 6 months left on the contract.
over the last couple of months i have noticed that our bills have gone up dramatically
My hubby reminded me of an email/letter he had received stating that they will now be charging a connection charge of 6p for any calls made out of the free call times, which is basically all day:eek:
I was wondering if there was any way of cancelling the contract early as this charge was bought in after we signed up.
Any advice will be greatly received:)

The 6p call set-up charge which applies to all non-inclusive calls, unless calls are charged at a fixed rate, has been in operation for some considerable time.
Why not use your second line facility where 01/02/03 calls, calls to 30 intl destinations, and calls to Orange Mobiles are all inclusive 24/7 365.

I have for most of the time, but quite often the line doesn't work, or is so bad you can't hear anything.0 -
So its not fit for purpose.
You should be able to use 18185 on your first line via their 0808 access number to get cheaper calls, if thats any help. See:http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php0 -
