We don't often have leftovers from most meals. Only exception is roast chicken - which we use the extra for another meal or two, plus soup stock, plus sandwiches. I noticed that leftovers tended to not get used - even if frozen, was a hassle to heat up as we have no microwave (no room for one and just didn't use it enough when we did have one ages ago). So I try to make sure portions are correct so we don't waste any food.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

I tend to cook extra so I can have leftovers on purpose. Saves time and energy on another meal as it's already cooked just needs defrosting/reheating.
No wonder you don't have many leftovers with 6 to feed. I'm just one adult and one child!0
