I think it's very uncommon to have a first name made of two words, nothing wrong with that of course. Obviously they should accommodate this but I think it's not something that most people would think of when designing a system to accept names and I think it's easy for this kind of problem to happen.

I'd be surprised if you haven't encountered problems like this regularly when having your name entered onto a computer?

Was it the name thing again? or was it something else, clearly not their fault is it?

I dont think its that uncommon, my first name is Jane Marie (though nobody calls me that now I have reverted to plain old Jane), one of my friends is also called Anne Marie and she uses her full name with no problems.

I have a freind Called AnneMarie (no spaces), could you not just omit the space, forming 1 word, as most software is designed for one forename and one surname.

I haven't come across any website forms that have 1st name, 2nd name, Initial and Surname.

10part6 i have but I really think that it is astounding that people think that a name isnt important. It is

I had no problems when i lived in France, Ireland, Switzerland and New Zealand and I refuse to change my name because this country can not accept that I have a name with no hyphen and a space. It is my name and I really intend to keep it.

My name it is part of me.

And no it wasnt the same issue in Tesco they lost my paperwork after confirming that they had it and told me the account was opened and sent me lots of letters telling me that i didnt provide the paperwork. AFter my phone call 2 days passed and a letter stating we are sorry we had your paperwork all along and your account is now opened. Monkeys.

Dont really like the food from ASDA so think I may starve to death because of it. Oh the problems of the world are on my shoulder.

and tell me does anyone know anything about cover heat

I dont think ANYONE on here has said a name isnt important, there is nothing more unique, unfortunatley a lot of databases, arent capable of managing 2 first names. Possibly due to the fact most people dont have 2 first names. Maybe ask them to use the underscore as a space "_", if that doesnt work, your intention to keep your first names seperately, is going to prove problematic for you in certain circumstances.
