abbey national emails

hi all this is my first post so hope it is in the right place .Over the last few months I have recieved a number of emails that say they are from Abbey saying someone has been trying to access my account .This is very strange as i dont have an account and when i click the link in the email it takes me elsewhere .Does anyone know anything of this or had similar mails ?? thanks

    Why did you click on the link, especially as you don't have an Abbey account.
