This is my first time using this forum so I apologise if I have missed a thread regarding this elsewhere. I am currently the owner of a 2 bed third floor new build flat on a shared ownership scheme. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think a lot of people get SE/SO mixed up. Am I right in thinking:

Shared Ownership means they have joint control of your property and you must both agree to anything.

Shared Equity means its yours but they own a stake in the house which you must pay rent on and fully repay on sale.
