Experian Free Trial

in Credit cards
I've just paid off my Barclaycard, which I have tarted the 12months 0% purchases on, and closed a Halifax Mastercard account. I'm planning on keeping hold of the Barclaycard.
Out of Curiosity (as I will be applying for a Vodafone account next week) I was looking at taking advantage of Experian's credit report 30day free trial. I'm not too concerned about closing this down in time, however the queries I have are:
1) Is the Experian account difficult to close during the 30day trial?
2) How long should it take for my Credit file to be changed to reflect the closure of my Halifax Credit Card, and payment in full of Barclaycard?
Any advice would be most useful.

1) Mine was very easy to close. They didn't argue or try to give me the hard sell or anything, of that's what you're concerned about.

2) I'm not 100% sure, but I believe credit files are updated once a month, so it shouldn't be too long.Egg Loan - [strike]£4921.84[/strike] £0!! :j Barclaycard - £3866.47 Legal + Trade - [strike]£2700.96[/strike] £0!! :j Triton - [strike]£1730.89[/strike] £0!! :j Next - [STRIKE]£776.15[/STRIKE] £126.88 Littlewoods - [strike]£217.16[/strike] £0!! :j Housemate - [strike]£1300[/strike] £0!! :j Capital One - [STRIKE]£1652.51[/STRIKE] £1,081.58 Vanquis - [strike]£2337.75[/strike] £375.58

Your a star!
When you sign up, I assume it's a continuous payment authority you are making as opposed to a direct debit agreement for the service. Has anyone had an issue with them charging after cancellation?
Has anyone had to write in to cancel?
Should the fact that I no longer have a balance on my Barclaycard show up on my file (Given time) or would it still show that I have access to this a certain level of credit.
What I would ideally want it to show is that I have access to this and I am not using it.
Other than my Mortgage I have no outstanding credit (or had outside my phone contracts and credit cards). Am I just being paranoid? My farts hospitalize small children
