closed credit cards

does anybody know if i can claim for charges if i have paid off my credit card and it is now closed but the charges were in the last 6 years ?

    HI, i don't think it makes any difference whether they are open or closed. As long as you have the account details, you can still write off for the copy statements for the account to make your claim. the only potential problem could be if it is closed, they may have archived some records and may not be able to provide all copies of your statements. but you never know until you try and if it is a lot you would get back, then it would be worth a shot at it.
