Career coaching at £90 per hour, is this good value?

I know it sounds a lot but I need some help with my career direction

Any thoughts?

Thanks

What do career coaches do exactly? Surely you know yourself better and what you want to do with your life more than a stranger?

I suppose it all depends on the coach, I booked 4 sessions at a similar fee, and it paid off big time, 21K payrise :D and I am in a role I love and in a sector that is recession proof.

Don't tell me: you are now a career coach!

Nice work if you can get it.

Ha ha, no not a career coach or a consultant, I just needed a fresh perspective and a boost in confidence, and the coach provided that for me. I already knew him which helped.

Outrageous amount. Have you checked what others are charging. There must be other help you can get locally? I would be very suspicious of anyone charging that much just for giving advice.

Go and see a careers advisor.
Take the stamford test on ucas.
Or think back to when you were a kid, what did you want to be?

Failing that i can fluff your ego and suggest jobs for the next hour if your willing to pay that much.
