Credit Card Charges

In Brief
My credit card company has started using a standard charge for going over the limit.
£12 but
THEY TAKE A FURTHER £12 NEXT MONTH AS WELL.
I went over my credtit limit( for the first time) and got a letter, I sorted it out promtly and phoned to let them know. They told me there would be a £12 charge for going over.
I got a further letter confirming the charge, I phoned to check something else, during the conversation I was told that there would be a further payment of £12 next month.
It transpired that if you go over your limit you are charged £12 for 2 consecutive months, also, if you miss a payment, you are charged £12 for 3 consecutive months.
So they are still getting away with charging you £24 for over the limit and £36 for missing a payment.
However, I was told, quite freely, that the second payment could be withdrawn, when I asked them, it was.
Had to tell someone, I hope it helps.
