Hi can anyone help. .
We are up to date with all the payments on our credit cards and loans etc but we are starting to struggle as hubby works in building industry and obviously times are getting harder there!!!!
I can see over the next few months us starting to fall short on payments etc and just wondered what the best way round it all is?? We have a four month old baby so really can't risk losing the house.

The credit agreement thing is usually used by those who have failed to keep up payments and are disputing that the agreement is legally enforcable. Not sure why someone would have pm'd you about that. It is a route you could look into, but as this could impact your credit file, not sure you want to do that right now.

Here are some details on the credit agreement request and the terms that are required to be on it for the debt to be legally enforcable, but cases have gone to court before and if you are still using the cards, they may argue that it is fraud - you need to be very careful with this if you haven't even missed payments yet.

If you post up a SOA, we may be able to advise of areas you could save in and you may also be able to get offers from your existing cards if you have any that are close to a nil balance.
