Hidden charges on a savings account? Please provide details. In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0

I've been with NatWest for a long time. All of their fees and penalty charges are clearly defined. Subscription charges on their "special" accounts (eg: Advantage Private) are very clearly shown, and in fact they fully advertise that their black card has an APR of something like 50% purely due to the annual subscription fee.
I assume by "promised savings" you're referring to a package or service rather than a savings account. Perhaps you'd like to elaborate?Mmmm, credit crunch. Tasty.0 -
What the subtly named original poster actually means isn't "Don't save with natwest" but "Don't use a current account for saving in."
