Hi
http://www.consolebitz.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=32
I have already ordered wrong part on ebay:o
My son does not use this and as it is still usable i thought i would give it my mum as part of her xmas pressie (with some games) rather than buying a new one :money: but would like to try and repair it.
I have got the special screwdriver, how easy would it be to do myself ?
Would appreciate (sp) any advice cos if i get it wrong again it would prob have been cheaper to buy her a new one
TIA

Dead easy to do. When you open yours, don't be put off by it looking complicated. Try and ignore the circuitry and think of it as blocks held in by screws connected to each other by a flat cable instead of "look at all those chips and things - it looks very complicated."
Make sure you've an uncluttered lit area to work in and take your time.0 -
Thanks for your reply conor.
Might go ahead and order it.
Have seen these shells on ebay but not sure if they are the right ones.
Fingers crossed then that i still end up with a working DS:rotfl:0 -
