when i double click (like you do) on a folder, any folder on my laptop, the contents do not automatically come up - a search menu-type thing appears on left hand side.
if i do want it to open automatically, i have to right click and pick open.
this is a real nuisance.
have tried looking in folder options, but to be honest,i really dont know where to start with this.
anyone help me please?
thanks.

I would start by looking in Start/Settings/Control Panel/Mouse and see if there is any setting in there that needs sorting.0
