Satisfied CCJ

Options
Hi all,

Earlier on in the year I satisfied a CCJ I had. Is it worth me applying to get this marked as satisfied on my credit file?

I believe that doing this will cost me £35 which I think is a touch harsh! is it a simple process to do?

Will having this done improve my credit rating much even though I paid the debt off as a settlement?

Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place!

Thanks for your help

Regards

Matt

  • Having a ccj on your credit file is the worst thing you can have other than bankruptcy. I would advise you get it mark as settled asap. It wont influence your credit score immediately but will definately improve with time. With the ccj still not settled your score wont increase and has detrimental effects on your chances of getting credit. Hope this helps
  • Have you checked your credit file? Mine was marked satisfied automatically without paying any more money.
