Foreign Exchange Bureaus - Small denominations i.e. $1, $5 (us)

Does anyone know how easy it is to get US$ in small currency. I'm off to an African Nation, who's local currency is worthless, hence everyone uses US$, but obviously the smaller the notes the greater flexibilty one would have.

My local thomas cook will let me order the denomination i want, if you have one near you give them a call tell them what you want and when you will collect it, and i am sure thay will be able to do this.0

TMS and Crown Currency will also do the same you can denote what notes you want. I think most do know there might be the odd exception but it sees to be a regular thing nowadays to be able to order denominationsVodka Martini
