Goldfish/Barclaycard refund

Hi

I am expecting a refund on a hotel deposit paid a while back on my Goldfish card.

The hotel are refunding my old Goldfish card number as that was the card I originally used to book.

However, I am now wondering if they refund that number, will my new Barclaycard automatically be credited with the refund instead? I don't want the refund to be in limbo somewhere.

Given the amount of problems I've had trying to access Barclycard Rewards and begging their call centre to send me a dispute form for AOL transactions debited since I cancelled AOL services - first I was told by Barclaycard to wait a month before disputing and this morning (after waiting a month) they are still telling me to take it up with AOL before I can dispute it, I feel wary that I'm going to get my hotel refund.

Would be grateful for any advice.

the refund on the old card should tally up with the new card number, if in doubt give bcard/goldfish a call

ages ago i made a payment to bcard on my old number, never thought about it til i got a letter saying it had been allocated to my new number and to up date my online banking
