The cat has sat on my laptop and messed up the display!!! There are two blacked out portions either side of the screen, and when i open internet explorer, it is only a square in the middle of the screen, and won't go wider. Hope this makes sense to someone, because it's soooooo bugging me!! Thanks for any help in advance

right click on the screen , then click properties , then the settings tab
make sure that its set to 1280 x 1024Ex forum ambassador
