ICESAVE email change of address question

Hi there, I am new to this forum but like most people on here have money frozen in Icesave.

My elderly parents who are not computer literate in the slightest also have money tied up with Icesave. As I have recieved my first email from the FSCS on Nov 04 I wanted to check weather my Dad had also recieved his. He said he hadn't so I checked his Icesave account and realised his email details were incorrect.

I have since changed this to his correct email adress this morning on his Icesave account but I am now worried the FSCS won't check for any email address changes anymore and will continue to send the second all important email to the wrong address for which we can't logon to.

Has anyone on this forum had similar problems or know if the FSCS will be notified of any changes to customers email addresses?

11. I've heard that you are sending emails about how to claim to get funds back from Icesave. My email address has changed so I won't receive these. How will I find out what to do?
If you do not receive the first email from FSCS by close of business on Friday 7 November 2008 you should contact FSCS on 0845 7300 131 (Icesave enquiries only). FSCS will be sending letters out to all customers who do not complete the application process online. If you receive the first email but not the second by 4 December, you should call our customer helpline on 0845 7300 131 (Icesave enquiries only).
